Part 1: Completing a Stock Move
- Find a suitable empty location on ILS for the stock to be moved to:
- Use the 'Location Overview' process to identify an empty location.
- Alternatively, scan a location on the RDT:
- If "Location OK" appears, the location is suitable.
- If "Bad Location" appears, press Back, then scan another location or find one via ILS.
- From the RDT top menu, select STOCK MOVES and press ENTER.
- Select STK TRANSFER and press ENTER.
- Scan the barcode of the current location where the stock is stored (the "move from" location).
- Scan the barcode of the item being moved:
- If there is no barcode, press F1 to manually enter.
- Confirm the quantity of the item being moved and press ENTER:
- If the quantity differs from expected, move the expected quantity first.
- Then request a Physical Inventory (PI) check in the new location after the move.
- Scan the barcode of the new, suitable empty location to move the stock into.
- Press ENTER to confirm the move and auto-nail the item.
Conditions:
- You cannot perform the move if a PI is set on the starting location. Complete any outstanding PI actions before proceeding.
- If the new location is occupied, proceed to the stock swap procedure (see Part 2).
Part 2: Completing a Stock Swap
- At step 7 of the stock move, if the new location is occupied, press F1 to initiate the stock swap process.
- Scan the barcode of the product currently stored in the new location:
- If no barcode is available, press F1 to enter manually.
- Confirm the quantity of the product being swapped and press ENTER.
- Review the list of locations involved in the swap.
- Press ENTER to confirm and complete the stock swap.
Conditions:
- You cannot use the second location if a PI is set on it. Clear any PI actions before swapping.
- If you find discrepancies in stock levels during move or swap, request a PI check once finished.
Part 3: Correcting Quantity Differences
- If the actual quantity moved differs from the quantity displayed on ILS:
- Move the expected quantity first.
- Request a PI check on the affected location immediately after completing the move or swap.
This procedure ensures efficient stock moves and swaps on the RDT while maintaining stock accuracy and compliance with inventory controls. Agents should follow each step carefully and escalate or request PI checks as needed to resolve discrepancies.
